Sticky Ginger Teriyaki Chicken Lollipops

Ingredients:

6-8 Drumsticks

1/3 Cup Soy Sauce

3 Tbs Ginger Paste

3 Tbs Brown Swerve

2 Tbs Chinese Five Spice

½ Tbs Garlic Pepper or Garlic Powder

½ Tbs Onion Powder

½ Tbs Sesame Oil

2 Tsp Cayenne Pepper

1 Tsp Parsley

Green Onion

Sesame Seed

Salt and Pepper to Taste

Instructions:

1. Preheat oven to 400F

2. Create the “Lollipop” by using a knife to cut around the least meaty end of the drumstick. Once tendons and meat are free, remove the remaining meat by pulling it away from the bottom of the drumstick. Remove any remaining fat or cartilage and clean off exposed bone.

3. Create a dry rub with onion powder, garlic pepper, parsley, and Chinese five spice. Season chicken generously and place on baking sheet.

4. Create sauce by combining Soy sauce, ginger paste, Brown Swerve, Sesame oil, cayenne, salt and pepper.

5. Align chicken on wire rack. Bake for 20 minutes before flipping and baking for an additional 15 minutes. Remove from oven and brush chicken with sauce and bake for an additional 15 minutes.

6. Remove from oven and coat generously with remaining sauce. Garnish with sesame seeds, green onion and serve with your favorite side dish. Enjoy!
